ReadHead Steering Gearbox UPGRADE 2005-2008 F250 and F350

This Steering Gear Box is a heavy duty upgrade option. The vehicle is applicable if it's used for off-roading, has tires larger than 37 inches in diameter, or is used for heavy hauling! Get this remanufactured steering gear box and make your truck turn like new again! This gear has a larger bore piston internally to allow more flow from the pump through the box to push tires that are larger than stock. The sector shaft is larger and stronger internally and has a 6 bolt cast top cover instead of the factory 4 bolt aluminum top cover. • Be sure to do a spline peak count of your output or sector shaft, which indirectly connects to the tires, you should have a total of 32 splines. (Please view the third picture, you'll see you have 8 spline peaks between each master spline, and there's 4 master splines, so 8 times 4 = 32 splines)
• Flushing steering/brake hydroboost system is required if not done will void warranty
• Use recommended ATF for flushing and fluid replacement
• Make sure power steering pump is in good working order or it can cause damage and void warranty
• Check all other steering components for wear!
