Upgrade the engine oil filter on your vehicle with the PPE 314000767 Premium High-Efficiency Engine Oil Filter. The oversized PPE Engine Oil Filter has more specially engineered filter media, with 20% more square inches at 552 than the OEM filter. It has a perforated metal center core for support and prevention of collapse. Blow-by is eliminated through an integrated coil spring. The filter also contains a high-power magnet to catch ferrous particles and prevent internal damage. A silicone anti-drain-back valve prevents engine dry starts. The bypass valve has a stiffer spring and rubber seal for maximum protection. In comparison, the OEM filter only has 455 square inches of 20-micron filtration capability. The tension of the leaf spring in the factory filter decreases over time, which can lead to dirty oil blow-by.
