xPermatex High Performance Thread Sealant
Permatex high performance thread sealant is formulated specifically for tapered metal pipe thread fittings—and works great as a replacement for PTFE tape and pipe dopes. It cures rapidly to withstand up to 10,000 psi, prevents galling, and protects mated threaded areas from rust and corrosion.
Features of Permatex high performance thread sealant:

* Standard applications: stainless steel fittings, head bolts into through holes, oil psi sending units/sensors, oil and coolant lines, intake manifold switches, rear axle fill plug, fuel fittings
* Motorcycle applications: timing hole plug and oil hose fittings
* Heavy-duty applications include drain plugs, all tapered fittings
