The Banks Power 25988 Techni-Cooler Intercooler System is superior to the stock intercooler in your 2012-2016 GM 6.6 Duramax LML. The Banks Power Techni-Cooler is engineered to be bigger, better, and provide greater airflow. The mandrel-bent boost tubes are matched to the inlet and outlet of the intercooler. The intercooler features a thicker core with 95% greater volume to improve cooling and high-efficiency all-aluminum end tanks with wide-open inlet & outlet for a 69% larger flow area.
The Banks Intercooler significantly increases cooling capacity by balancing the richer fuel mixture with more air that is cooler and denser. The greater air density gives your truck more oxygen, improving combustion and enhancing engine efficiency. This results in higher continuous power, more power at any RPM, better economy, and lower exhaust gas temperatures (EGTs).
